ROBOCOP
A small compositing short I did with a team of 7 in three weeks for our advanced compositing course. I focused on 3D animation and lighting for the robot from 0:03 - 0:07. I aimed to make the robot as realistic as possible in the scene through lighting and realistic motion and counter-weight. Along with lighting came light catching for shadows, so I had to match the ground with a 3D model to cast shadows onto it. I worked entirely in Maya for this project. The additional work by others included modeling in Maya, texturing in Photoshop, additional animating in Maya, tracking in Syntheyes, compositing  in Nuke, and visual effects in Houdini.
